IT´S JUDGEMENT HOUR
GA3 had a surprisingly large number of late
delegates on Wednesday morning. Afghanistan, Norway, Costa Rica, Finland and
Russia all faced humiliating punishments in front of their fellow delegates. Afghanistan,
Norway and Costa Rica used pens as instruments while they sang Jingle Bells (a
little bit early too early for that, I'd say) and turned red (as the nose of
Rudolph?). Other punishments included the typical MunoM default of singing your
national anthem.

After lunch, GA6 entertained several creative punishments. Canada wrote a heartfelt love poem to the US, where they mentioned the US's "beautiful shape" and eventually proposed. The US was quick to reply with a "yes". Trudeau and Trump must be rather happy. Next up was Finland, who gave an emotional rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. To follow this up, Cuba gave a speech draped in their national flag, praising their former dictator Fidel Castro and shouting "Shame on you!" to the US. Shame did come. The US, represented by a petite blond girl, mimicked her president making a speech supporting and recognising Palestine. "First America, second Palestine - and we can make the world great again" she concluded, keeping in line with her President's foreign policy.
Across the hall, GA4 witnessed the recreation of a movie scene. US, Saudi Arabia and Portugal walked up to the front of the room, smiling mischievously as the other delegates waited anxiously to find out what film scene they would be acting out. After a few minutes of acting (rather terribly), it turned out to be a scene from Rick and Morty.
